The Roustabout will work under the direction of the Crane Operator as necessary to support on-going rig operations.  

Primary Responsibilities:

The Roustabout may:

• Assist in handling of freight to and from helicopters and boats
• Assist on drilling floor during drilling operations
• Properly rig up and maintain scaffolding, ladders, and all other types of equipment or devices utilized to lift personnel
• Perform general house-keeping duties and material preservation activities
• Participate fully in all Health, Safety and Environmental initiatives and safety programs and in pre-tour weekly safety meetings
• Follow Diamond Offshore Global Excellence Management System (G.E.M.S.)
• Perform other duties as required

Basic

• At least 18 years of age
• Legally authorized to work in the United States without restrictions
• Possess or able to obtain a valid Transportation Worker's Identification Credential (TWIC). Any candidate selected for this position will not be      allowed to begin work without a card in hand or proof from the TSA of a card "In Production" or "In Transit." • Willing and able to be away from home in excess of 21 days

Preferred

• 1 or more years’ experience on an offshore drilling vessel
• 1 or more years’  experience working in an industrial environment
• 1 or more years’ experience in crane operations
