    The Rewards - Benefit Coordinator will report to the Manager - Rewards (Compensation & Benefits) and will be responsible for the support and administration of benefits information to Diamond Offshore employees.


    Primary Responsibilities:

    The Rewards - Benefit Coordinator may:

    • Manage Benefits department phone line and liaise with employees on Benefit enrollment and provider issues and concerns
    • Perform trend analysis on phone and email inquiries, using trend data to identify education opportunities for employees
    • Review HRIS Maintenance reports and update HRM system as needed
    • Oversee Records Retention Administration & Archiving
    • Maintain Benefits Department Filing
    • Manage New Hire Onboarding related tasks
    • Process benefit miscellaneous items such as: QMCSOs, Premium Waiver Applications, Flu Vaccination annual campaign, Medicare Coordination upon request, provide Visa related information upon request, and provide Credit Union Notifications to employees
    • Support and Manage Leave Administration tasks
    • Support and Manage Expat and Third Country National (TCN) Benefits administration tasks
    • Support and Manage 401(k) Administration tasks
    • Process Death Claims for Domestic, Expat and TCN populations, as needed
    • Assist with monthly Billing activities for all populations (Domestic, Expat and TCN)
    • Track and Order benefit related supplies as needed
    • Participate fully in all Health, Safety and Environmental initiatives and safety programs
    • Follow Diamond Offshore Global Excellence Management System (G.E.M.S.)
    • Perform other duties as required/assigned



    • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or High School Diploma with equivalent years of experience
    • A minimum of two (2) years of direct experience with an HR and/or Benefits focus
    • Must possess and/or be able to obtain a passport
    • Able and willing to travel up to 10% or as required
    • Prior HRM system experience, Oracle preferred
    • Legally authorized to work in the United States without restrictions


    • Commitment to customer service and professionalism 
    • Proven excellence in both written and verbal communication; ability to effectively and professionally communicate with all levels of internal clients and external partners
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
    • Ability to multi-task and remain detail-oriented
    • Ability to perform a range of analytical tasks
    • Able to work both independently and in a team environment
